Championship Forex Trader Pro EA

I another new robot on the market as is always the case but this one is based on volatility spike a bit like MDP, but rather then fading the move it aims to play the continuation. Since MDP has worked quite well I thought I would give this robot a shot. The recomended pair is EUR/USD, althougth they say any liquid pair with a tight spread can work. I will be testing it on a demo account first with EUR/USD and AUD/USD. You can use this robot on a four or five digit broker.

Update
After some poor initial results, I contacted vendor and they say there has been an update to Championship forex trader Pro, this pro version allows much more control with the main one being how sensitive it is to spikes. The current versions seemed to be too sensitive to spikes, so you can now adjust this. I have updated the bot and have sensitivity at 100 for now and see how it goes. At the time of this update the robot is 56% down, so we shall see if it makes any of this back.

As you can see the performance hasn't been great on this, maybe in time It will, but I have stopped using it now.

Forex Megadroid Review

This robot has been around for a long time, and is one of the few that has actually been proven to beat the market over a long period of time. It works with many brokers, and although it wont give you those fantasy results that many EAs claim they can produce, it can give consistent returns over a period of time.
The drawbacks is that it doesn't trade alot, sometimes it can go a week without trading, but then again this can be seen as a good thing too.
Although the losses can be significant when they do arise, but with the recovery mode feature it doubles up to make it back quicker then if recovery mode is kept off.

I dont currently have my own stats on this as Im running megadroid along with others EAs so I cant isolate the performance. But heres a link to some other traders stats on this bot.

Xbars MA Scalper

Xbars is a scalper system which works best with EUR/USD. It buys when above the moving average and sells when its below based on certain oversold and overbought conditions.
Its a very interesting EA which takes profits at 9 pips with a Stop at 72 pips. So 1 to 8 reward/risk ratio.

I have been using this for over a year now and is steady wealth builder, it is profitable although it will take time to slowly build an account as there are moments when you can get some draw downs.
I use it in conjunction with other EAs as well as use it to earn Cashback.

Cloverix EA review

Cloverix is a scalping robot from the people at fx-emit. Its an asian scalper like Fapturbo or primeval EA and many others. The difference with Cloverix that it has a very low draw down and plays 2 pairs only EUR/GBP and EUR/CHF. The fourth version has just been released for 99$ which is a good price to have a punt at it. I bought this a few months back but stopped using it as the volatility in the Asian session was proving to too much for this robot to handle, but they have come out with a new release with new settings so I will be testing it on a small live account and a DEMO account as well. I will have the demo account available for tracking to see how it does.

Wall Street FX EA update

You may have noticed in the stats for WSFX that I have started to use the NZD/USD pair. This has replaced usd/chf on recommendation from the creators of the bot, on grounds of sub standard performance. I have gone along with the recommendations, although I kept one of my three licenses still using the usd/chf pair, and low and behold its made 100 pips since the recommendation. But long term I think it is a good decision.

Fx Speed Trader Review

This robot came out a couple of months ago and the results look crazy, so thought it was worth a shot. Its another scalper system, similar to FAPturbo, in that it trades the asian session. There are 4 pairs but each one is to be bought separatly, with the initial pair being the GBP/USD costing 99$. The other pairs are Eur/chf, Eur/Gbp and usd/chf available at 77$ each.

I have been using the system on FxSOL uk and have been flat over 1 month, trading very small. I think I would be up but my spread on GBP/USD is 4 pips, which isn't ideal for scalping but I will be looking to attach it to another broker soon.
Its too early to say whether this is really anything more then a run of the mill EA, but as long as it isn't losing money I will continue to use it, and accumulate cashback.

Million Dollar Pips EA Review

This EA has been causing alot of buzz around the EA world as it can be classified as a High frequency trading robot, which by definition is make quick short profit in a short period of time without huge draw down or unreasonable risk. Sounds to good to be true ofcourse as I have read this all before, but results don't lie and so far so good in my live testing.

Some details about MDP
- Runs on a one minute timeframe
- Trades with EUR/USD, with USD/JPY and GBP/USD versions available also.
- Option to open less trades
- Trialling Stop Loss recommended but optional

Personal thoughts
So far so good, have been trialling it for over a months and have made around 20% on one broker. Time will tell as with everything as one months performance isn't a good long term gage. Also its very important to find a broker with low latency, and that often means finding a VPS server which is near to the brokers server. This tends to be quite difficult as many other users looking for the same thing. As with IRIS FX, its definantly worth having Cashback with your broker, as it trades a decent amount and the cash back can rack up pretty nicely. However spread is very important with this robot so having commission account may be good as spreads are typically below 1 pip.

I think by Christmas we will get a good Idea of how this bot works over time.

I purchased this EA 2 months ago, and basically its said to be a 24 hour scalper not like those Asian session scalpers.

My thoughts are that its better then the other scalpers out there purely because the take profit targets tend to be bigger thus if we encounter a loss its quicker to make it back. August was a rough month for this EA but September was much better as it made back 60% of Augusts losses, but long term I think this robot lies in good stead.

IRIS FX review

I have been using this EA for around 3 months and theres two things they got going for it, firstly it is at worse a break even robot. You have to take quite a few swings on the robot but it tends to at worst get you to break even and slowly but surely into profit.
Secondly it does around 80 trades + a month. So going back to the cash back article this pays well in terms of cash back. You get two live licences with IRIS FX, I'm currently using hotforex and Fx Primus, the EA developers suggest Alpari which also is a very good broker. With Hotforex through Cashbackforex you get 0.4 pip rebate, Fx Primus you get 0.5 pips and Alpari UK you get 0.25 pips.
The Ea is retailing for 149 dollars which is pretty normal for an EA.

The strategy is more a breakout one where the bot is looking to buy or sell at previous support and resistance levels.

You can see the EA is showing a profit over the past 3 months, but what is more is the rebates I have earned so far, and this is trading 0.1 lots.

Cash Back Services

Making money with Expert advisors is difficult but one thing that does vastly improve the performance is by using a cash back service. Now there are many out there and basically they provide you rebates with every trade you place. So if you have an EA that places 5 trades a day at 1 lot each thats 5 lots a day, and multiply this by 20 which is the average trading days in the month you have 100 lots. Now depending on the broker Cashback varies from 0.1 to 1.5 pips per trade so if we assume we have a broker which offers 0.5 pips rebate that would mean 5 dollars for every lot. So 100 lots * 5 dollars would be 500 dollars!
Bearing this in mind I'm tryin to find EAs that can at least break even, which means testing it small over a period of time, and In essence get earning through rebates. If the EA makes a profit as well then thats just a bonus the way I see it. But if its losing money then of course we would not use it.

Purpose of this Blog

I have tried many Expert advisor's, most don't work, and bleed money. So I will extensively test EA's till I can find one that works. Realistically you cant be looking for the crazy gains they sell you but if you can get one that makes a return, and with a combination of cash back on your trades, you can be profitable.
